Ryan Verzosa is the Acting Director of Litigation at the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA). With over 20 years of experience in environmental law and regulatory enforcement, Ryan has led complex litigation and provided strategic legal advice across diverse compliance frameworks. His expertise spans prosecuting significant environmental cases and deploying a range of regulatory tools, including enforceable undertakings and civil proceedings, to achieve strong environmental outcomes. Ryan has held senior legal roles within the NSW EPA and other NSW environmental regulators, driving innovative enforcement strategies and shaping legal approaches that promote accountability and environmental protection.
