Peter provides strategic advice and technical expertise as the leader of EPA’s Investigations Support and Prosecutions unit. Peter commenced this position as the EPA adopted new legislation in 2021, which provided for a civil penalty regime, and has led the EPA in seeking civil relief.
Peter spent 7 years at Consumer Affairs Victoria undertaking investigations, advising on specialist consumer and regulatory law matters, conducting criminal prosecutions, professional disciplinary applications and civil penalty litigation in both the Federal Court and Supreme Court of Victoria. Peter is an executive committee member of the Agency Prosecutions Section of the Law Institute of Victoria.
