Laura McCurdy

Laura McCurdy has a law enforcement background, having served in the United Kingdom and South Australia where she worked as a Detective in the Criminal Investigation Branch as well as the Coronial investigation Section and child abuse investigation section. After policing she worked at the Department for Education and the Department for Child Protection as a Senior Investigator investigating serious care concerns. Laura also worked at the Office for Public Integrity having oversight of police misconduct investigations and then moved to the Independent Commission Against Corruption in South Australia as a Principal Investigator. Laura has worked at Office of the National Rail Safety Regulator since August 2024 as the National Manager, Investigation.
