Brett Crawford is ASIC’s Chief Investigator and a Senior Executive Leader within the Enforcement and Compliance Group which are responsible for delivering a variety of administrative, civil and criminal outcomes.

Brett has been at ASIC for 17 years and was previously a Senior Manager in the Markets Enforcement group, where he oversaw a variety of complex investigations across relating to audit misconduct, corporations, corporate governance, financial reporting and financial services.

Prior to joining ASIC, Brett was a police officer with the Queensland Police Service for 16 years, including 6 years as a police prosecutor, and also worked with the Australian Taxation Office for 3 years, investigating large-scale tax evasion and fraud.
